About Oak Limited Edition

"On the list of the most important tools in human history, the writing instrument is the fourth most important tool - after the knife, the abacus and the compass."

-David M. Ewalt

In 1662, Friedrich Staedtler produced the first writing instruments for the mass market in Nuremberg. The wood that we use for the body of the Oak Limited Edition comes from the same century - protected in the inner roof beams of an old church, this wood was able to stand the test of time. In doing so, it acquired a spirit that is reflected in its particular Partina. Not a pen like any other, with the Oak Limited Edition we have created a writing instrument with a claim to eternity.
